The rocks at Second Beach are a landmark meeting place for those who know and love this Middletown, RI, beach. Not far from First Beach, this beach is just as nice and just a bit quieter with all the fun. In the far distance is the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Reserve.
Patty is a multi-media artist who loves painting "Scenes of Life at the Shore". Having grown up near the Connecticut shore she has many happy memories of salt, sun and sand and as she's gotten older has availed herself of the great restorative properties of the sea. Patty's main goal as an artist is to create a piece or capture a scene that will elicit a "happy memory" for the viewer. So many collectors recall and share with her childhood or family memories many of her scenes and it's this that she finds most fulfilling as an artist. She especially likes a piece of architecture in a landscape and the more remote the better - like little beach shacks, a particular favorite subject matter.
