Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The Chanler, Newport Rhode Island print of an original oil painting depicts The Chanler in late summer just when the grasses are going gold and leaves on the trees just starting to turn while the beaches are still full with the summertime crowd.
This original was 11" x 14" and done on canvas.
About Patty Kay Hall
Patty is a multi-media artist who loves painting "Scenes of Life at the Shore". Having grown up near the Connecticut shore she has many happy memories of salt, sun and sand and as she's gotten older has availed herself of the great restorative properties of the sea. Patty's main goal as an artist is to create a piece or capture a scene that will elicit a "happy memory" for the viewer. So many collectors recall and share with her childhood or family memories many of her scenes and it's this that she finds most fulfilling as an artist.
